THAKSIN UNIVERSITY, Songkhla, Thailand January 17, 2024 Thaksin University hosted a two-day seminar on Public Speaking and Effective Presentation Skills, facilitated by Mr. Simon Clews, Learning Advisor at the Office of the Dean of Higher Degree by Research at the Australian National University. The seminar aimed to equip participants with the necessary skills and techniques to excel in delivering impactful presentations.

Mr. Clews, a renowned expert in the field, conducted two sessions per day on January 16th  and 17th, attracting a diverse audience of students, faculty staff, and lecturers. The morning sessions focused on building a strong foundation, covering topics like understanding different audiences, crafting compelling narratives, and structuring presentations for clarity and impact. The afternoon sessions delved into advanced techniques, exploring vocal delivery, body language, and the effective use of visual aids.Public speaking is a crucial skill for success in any field,said Mr. Clews. “This seminar aimed to provide participants with practical tools and strategies to overcome their fear of public speaking and deliver presentations confidently and clearly.”
